01:17 am: DDDA
Sonnova crap... I've edited the beginning of DDDA to make it fit in with D's godliness and now it's nowhere near as snappy as it was. I don't want to get rid of the Prologue because it ties in with The Plot but I must confess I'm kind of pissed at myself. This would have been much easier if I hadn't had my hard-drive die on me then the entire computer, complete with rewritten scenes and synopsis, stolen from my room...
I really miss this one scene, I couldn't have fitted it in with things as they are now but it was pretty funny. Seras was cleaning her canon in her pyjamas and listening to the Basement Jaxx 'Take me back to your house'. D watched her for a while and then had to go have a lie down afterwards to try and internalise just what he'd been seeing.

Anyway, I'm going to post some scenes from what I have written, in case the computer is stolen again and to prove to myself that I have actually written some things. Completely non-spoiler stuff only, I promise... Umm... To anyone that reads the thing...

Ok, the Vampire Hunter D slash Hellsing crossover of DOOM is being updated on Adultfanfiction and soom fanfiction.net. It's easier to edit chapters that way and upload, I've already changed things from the first chapter, so the one that is uploaded here isn't the finished product. Sorry about that, um, if anybody read it. If nobody read it though that's better because then I don't have to feel bad about jerking people around.

02:33 am: Crossover/AU evil thing with vampires
I feel dirty for doing this. There are great many D/Hellsing crossovers on the net and a great many of these are bad. I wanted to make a satirical one. Wanted being the operative word. Criticism and wit, at least I can criticise ok, sometimes.

I'm going off what I know from Bloodlust and the novels that I've read. I am probably wrong in some of my speculations about lefty and Dracula. I'm setting Hellsing before the climactic battle going on with millenium. I just don't know enough about how Seras turns out to do otherwise.

I hope Seras is ok, she doesn't do much because she's mainly active when a fight comes her way. That just didn't happen here.

BWAHAHA! Points for anyone who gets the reference to workers agreements (which are replacing standard contracts in Australia, bastard government). I know I never do much with Alucard but that's because he's fairly enigmatic and personality disordered. He's possessive of the women in his life (he cries over Mina and he taunts Walter daffy-duck style when he gets the opportunity, "Mine! All mine!") but he's also insane and power obsessed and he thinks of Seras as his servant (ie, someone he can boss around). Anyway, ignore him.

This is a pretty sentimental fic. I've always liked Seras and I wondered how the rest of the cast would cope if she wasn't able to run around being the police girl. Two ways to take it, the first would be exactly like Hellsing as it is now, just without the comic-relief.
